Tatiana Dovgan advises national and international companies Russian on competition law and related regulatory issues. She is experienced in the due diligence of distribution contracts and other commercial agreements regarding their compliance with Russian competition law. She regularly deals with the assessment of business practices for potential liability risks in respect of abuse of dominance, cartel activity and other antitrust violations.
Tatiana possesses experience in representing clients before the Russian antimonopoly authority (FAS) in cases involving infringements of antimonopoly legislation. As another part of her antitrust work, Tatiana assists global companies with the implementation of antitrust compliance programs, trainings, antitrust audits and mock dawn raids.
Tatiana also advises on advertising law and unfair competition matters. She provided overall legal advice during a large-scale promotion campaign for a well-known fast food restaurant chain in Russia.
Apart from her main practice areas, Tatiana has experience of counselling on civil, general corporate and M&A issues, including the establishment of joint ventures and structuring of transactions. In this respect, Tatiana assisted a number of global industrial and hi-tech companies with obtaining merger control clearances in Russia and coordinating merger control procedures in the CIS. Tatiana contributes to various legal guides on a regular basis, predominantly on antitrust law matters.
